About

This Blog features bi-weekly reviews of Novels , Poetry,  Nonfiction/Travel, and Graphic Novels in whatever genre I feel like reading. There are four different types of reviews to read here:

1. Weekly "new" book reviews - These reviews will be written about books I have finished in the last two weeks. The reviews might be of books recently published by one of my favorite authors or of the popular "it" book. Often these reviews will be for older books, not published in the last year, but that I have just recently finished reading. What differentiates these reviews from the others on the blog is their depth. They will number 750-1000 words a post.

2. Bi-Weekly "old" book reviews / recommendations - These will be short posts (350-500 words). They will feature reviews of books that I have read in the past. For the most part this section will serve as a place for me to either recommend good reads or tear down books I consider to be not worth anyone's time.

3. Bi-Weekly audio reviews - I have a job and a commute that allows me to finish at least one audio book every other week. This section is separate from the "new" reviews section because audio does not allow me to go as in depth as I would like. However, since they are audio I will also spent some words critiquing the narrator/s of the text. Additionally, while most reviews on this blog will feature text quotes from the book, this section will eventually feature audio quotes and short samples of the audio book provided in place of quotes. These reviews will be a middle length of about 500 words.

4. Guest reviews - I have some friends who read and happen to be exceptional writers, or at least passable ones. Either way, I want to get them to help me with the blog. I am going to make them write reviews of books they deem worthy. This section is also open to readers of the blog itself. If you have a book you want to review or talk about let me know.

I welcome as many comments as you want to make. I love to discuss books, that is my main reason for creating this blog. If you have / want book recommendations, want to give feedback, disagree or agree with me on a review, or just talk in general, please comment. I welcome informed discussion.
